case study #1: Tamar Valley - Sensational Brand

In September 2006 at+m integrated marketing were successful in winning the tender put forward by a local tourism association, for the development of a regional brand and related marketing materials. The at+m integrated marketing proposal was selected in front of four competitors, and received praise for our innovative and comprehensive approach to achieving the association’s brief. The ‘Sensational’ brand that was subsequently developed has been well received by the participating businesses, tourism operators, visitors to the region and the local community.

The enduring campaign has to date included the development of a regional tourist brand (Sensational), complementary logo, creative concept and production of a tourism toolkit for local tourism operators, design and production of local tourist maps incorporating the brand, and television and press advertising promoting the region to local, interstate and international visitors.

Future projects associated with this project will involve at+m integrated marketing continuing to advise the participating businesses and tourism operators on the successful implementation of the brand and its positioning, in addition to the execution of the branding across a range of local and interstate media.
